The invention relates to a device for simultaneously sterilising a large number of packaging containers (1), using hydrogen peroxide and a gas mixture containing a carrier gas. Said device comprises the following: supply lines (4) for the carrier gas and the hydrogen peroxide (5), a device (21) for evaporating the hydrogen peroxide by heat and incorporating it into the carrier gas, supply lines (4, 5) and a substantially horizontal distribution line (6, 22) and jets (3) that are located above each packaging container (1) and connected to the distribution line (6, 22). The aim of the invention is to simplify the device and provide a means, by which the concentration of hydrogen peroxide can be maintained at an identical level at a given time, in all jets for the multitude of packaging containers. To achieve this, the distribution line (6, 22) is configured as a tubular body (6) containing a longitudinal channel, which extends from the inlet (23) of the conditioned gas- mixture supply to the point (9) of entry above each jet (3). Said tubular body comprises at least one approximately tubular heating cartridge (18), extending the length of the body and distributed measuring points (12). The heating cartridge (18) is sub-divided into at least two sections and can be heated in a controlled manner by a supply of electric energy, in such a way that the temperature at the outer extremities of the tubular body (6) differs from that at the centre.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de stérilisation simultané d'une pluralité d'emballages (1) à l'aide de peroxyde d'hydrogène et d'un mélange gazeux contenant un gaz porteur. Ce dispositif comprend des conduites d'alimentation destinées au gaz porteur (4) et au peroxyde d'hydrogène (5), un dispositif (21) destiné à l'évaporation du peroxyde d'hydrogène par la chaleur et à l'incorporation au gaz porteur, des conduites d'alimentation (4, 5) et une conduite de distribution (6, 22) sensiblement horizontale, et des buses (3) situées au dessus de l'emballage concerné (1) et reliées à la conduite de distribution (6, 22). L'invention vise à simplifier le dispositif tout en apportant des mesures qui permettent de maintenir identique, à un moment donné, la concentration de peroxyde d'hydrogène au niveau de toutes les buses au dessus de tous les emballages. Pour ce faire, la conduite de distribution (6, 22) est conçue sous la forme d'un corps tubulaire (6) contenant un canal longitudinal reliant le point courant ascendant (23) de l'alimentation du mélange gazeux conditionné jusqu'au point (9) d'entrée face à la buse concernée (3). Ce corps tubulaire comprend au moins une cartouche chauffante (18) sensiblement tubulaire s'étendant sur sa longueur et des points de mesure (12) distribués. La cartouche chauffante (18) est divisée en au moins deux sections et peut être chauffée par commande d'apport d'énergie électrique de telle manière que la température des extrémités extérieures du corps tubulaire (6) se distingue de la température au centre.
