The invention relates to a device for stimulating areas of the human brain, comprising a coil arranged on a band forming a closed loop around a region of the head of the person for treatment which is provided with a current flow by a control electronic circuit in order to generate a magnetic filed acting on the person for treatment. The coil (2) is part of the band (1) which is elastic in the longitudinal direction thereof, the cross-sectional surface of which is flat and which may be applied to the head of a human with elastic tension in the fashion of a headband.

L'invention concerne un dispositif servant à stimuler des régions du cerveau humain. Ce dispositif comprend une bobine qui est disposée sur une bande autour d'une partie de la tête d'une personne nécessitant un traitement, cette bande formant une boucle fermée. La bobine est alimentée en courant en vue de produire un champ magnétique agissant sur la personne à traiter à partir d'une unité électronique de commande. Selon l'invention, la bobine (2) fait partie d'une bande (1) extensible élastiquement dans son sens longitudinal, la surface de section de cette bande étant plane et cette bande pouvant être appliquée sous précontrainte élastique sur la tête d'une personne à la manière d'un bandeau.
