ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In the case of data-transmission installations having interrogating and answering units moving relation to each other, the data received is fed alternately to one of two storage devices, where they are intermediately store. The data last received and stored in one device is compared with that immediately previously received and stored in the other storage device. If there is a difference, the last received data is recorded. The device is intended for automatic freight-car-member reporting and for spot train control in railroads.
