ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for the temporary obturation of a pipeline carrying any fluid whatesoever, the device comprising an inflatable bag associated with a brace co-operating with the inner wall of the pipeline and pivotedly connected to a rod or a jack so that a bag may be inserted positively and in the correct direction into the pipeline and may after having been inflated be mechanically and positively retained in its position of obturation of the pipeline.
