ABSTRACT. Noises and vibrations, which arise on the actuation and unlatching of a shaft door (1) entrained by a driven cage door (2), can largely be avoided with this device. For this purpose, a first coupling member (3) fastened at the shaft door (1) and a second coupling member (4) fastened at the cage door (2) are constructed as magnets and arranged in such a manner that a north pole (N) of the first coupling member (3) lies opposite a north pole (N) of the second coupling member (4) and a south pole (S) of the first coupling member (3) lies opposite a south pole (5) of the second coupling member (4) in direction of movement of the doors and separated by an air gap. A further magnet, the one pole of which in direction of movement of the doors lies opposite with an air gap to a like pole of the second coupling member (4), is provided at a latching member of the shaft door (1). On a stop of a cage at a storey, the shaft door (1) is first unlatched contactlessly and then entrained contactlessly on the opening of the cage door (2) due to the repelling forces of the magnets.
