ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Device for the aligned conveying of fish which comprises a conveying organ which has the task of leading the fish to be treated with its head end first past proces- sing tools by laterally guiding it exactly. To this end the conveying organ is provided with entraining elements having a prism-shaped recess and engaging the back of the fish. These entraining elements are arranged either on chain members of a conveyor formed by a link chain or on a toothed belt used as the conveying organ.
