Device for the assembly, resp. disassembly of probes (31) into process pipes, tanks (34), etc., comprising a nipple (25) mounted to the wall (36) of the pipe or tank (34), a ball valve (24) mounted to the nipple (25) and an hydraulically activated cylinder (2) which, for example, may be operated by using a pump. Its cylinder is connected to the ball valve (24), as the cylinder (2) is provided with a piston device (3) attached to the pump (23) through a first attachment (19) for the inflow and outflow of hydraulic fluids for pressure balancing within the cylinder (2) in order to bring the probe (31) into the nipple (25), through the ball valve (24) to the cylinder (2). The piston rod (5) is constructed so that it may be fastened to an attachment (32) on the probe (31). A second attachment (21) for outflow and inflow of hydraulic fluid being mounted to the cylinder wall (15) on the opposite side of the piston device (3) in the first attachment (19), also in order to bring the probe (31) out of the nipple (25), through the ball valve (24) and to the cylinder (2).
