ABSTRACT The invention concerns a device for the automatic supplying of fish uniformly aligned with respect to their belly-back and head-tail position to fish processing machines. The object of the invention comprises the improvement of a known construction including a feeding channel, a positively effective conveyor for the fish, an uprighting station with a toothed roller and a guiding element as well as a discharge channel. It is the objective to make the known device suitable for processing a greater quality tolerance. To achieve this it is suggested that the conveyor is deflected out of engagement only shortly upstream of the uprighting station which effects the engagement of the head flank of the fish head on the bottom surface of the feeding channel which is neces- sary for a troublefree righting of the fish.
