JBF137 ABSTRACT The invention concerns a feeder for board sheets or blanks (F) picked up successively from underneath a pile (1) in a package producing machine. The feeder includes two crosswise guides (16a, 16b) carrying a shiftable support (9). This support (9) consists of a first part (9a) engaged in the guides (16a, 16b) and of the second part (9b) vertically shiftable with regard to the first part (9a). A calibrating arresting piece (7) is fitted on the second part (9b). A jack (V2) is moved in between the two parts (9a, 9b) in order to counter-balance the weight of the second part (9b) when the two guides (16a, 16b) are lowered for calibrating the sheets (F) travelling through between the lower end (18) of the arresting piece (7) and a conveyor belt (2).
