ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Device for the electrically conducting connection of the cores of two cable ends, said device comprising two longitudinal elements extending themselves in the direction of the cables and being provided each with a number of plug means and mating female plug means with which the cores of a cable can be connected, on each element, near the one end which is connected with the cable, a ring being mounted in a rotatable way, of which ring the head face turned towards the element is provided with a curved path, the other end of each element being provided with a cam, in such a way that the cam of the one element can co-operate with the curved path of the ring of the other element and vice versa.
