ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Device for the installation and retention of a shutter plate for an opening in an enclosure which comprises a carrier ring provided with an inner channel with an inclined face within which are positioned clamping wedges which bear upon the periphery of the shutter plate and which, under the action of locking screws which interact with the carrier ring move individually within the channel in a downward radial direction so as to exert a compressive force on the shutter plate.
