2229 Abstract The invention relates to a device for the manufacture of amor- phous ceramic materials or metal alloys comprising a high pressure autoclav, in which firstly a crude sample is heated up to its melting point via a laser beam and then rapidly cooled down. According to the invention, the sample is held in a process position (2) in an autoclav (1) without contact via an acoustic levitation installation (12). Laser beams are directed on the process position by penetrating into the auto- clav through windows (19), thereby heating up the sample. The molten sample is then crushed between two colliding stamps (20, 21) and is thus quickly cooled down. Unique figure
