The positioning members, which define a first plane, comprise flattened spherical members movably mounted in spherical seats and having flat surfaces for engaging the workpiece. The clamping members comprise spherical elements, which are also mov- ably mounted in spherical seats. The positioning members and the clamping members are disposed opposite to each other.
