ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for precipitating condensable portions of a fluid flow comprises a planar element arranged transversely to the fluid flow and composed of at least two rows of grooved hollow profiles. Free longitudinal edges of the individual grooves overlap from row to row, and condensing fluid of adjustable temperature can be passed through the hollow profiles initially to precipitate the condensable portions, and in a later phase to remove them.
