ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention concerns a device for the ventilation of fast-moving lift cages (1), in which the ventilation during the travel with closed doors takes place through primary air openings (8.1, 9.1) present in a respective trough in the upper and lower parts of the cage body. The air flowing in at excess pressure is relieved and smoothed in steps in ventilation systems (8, 9) and gets free of draughs and noiselessly into the interior of the cage. The ventilation of the lift cage takes place through the ventilation system (8 or 9), which is at the rear seen in direction of travel, since the ventilation systems (8, 9) are flowed through in both directions. (Fig. 1)
