Abstract A device for transferring fluid to a rotating unit, for example a cutting tool, having a housing mounted on the rotating unit and comprising an inner ring and an outer ring. For purposes of decreasing the demand for close tolerance on fit between the inner ring and the rotating unit a connecting means is adapted to nonrotatably attach the inner ring to the rotating unit and is provided with a through-flow passage which interconnects passages in the inner ring and the outer ring communicating with a fluid source with a passage in the rotating unit.
