ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE "Device for Transferring Ink to the Inking Device of Printing Machines" This invention discloses a lifting roller in the inking device of printing machines, which performs a reciproca- ting movement between an inkwell roller and a brayer and which transfers an ink strip from the inkwell roller to the brayer, which is then worked in the inking device to a even ink film, whereby to facilitate improved preparation, an additional axial oscillatory movement acts on the lifting roller already in the vicinity of the inkwell.
