The invention relates to a device for transporting an organ, comprising a container for organs, a gas-driven pump connected to said container and conduits for circulating a liquid and/or gas through said container, and a controller for controlling the pump and wherein there are pressure sensor means in the liquid output conduit of the pump, which pressure sensor means are connected to said controller and control the drive for said pump, as well as a method for transporting an organ in a container, comprising placing an organ in said container, closing said container and pumping a perfusion liquid as well as an oxygen- containing gas into said container, said pumping of liquid being caused by pressure from said oxygen-containing gas, the gas pressure on a pump provided thereto being varied to obtain the pumping effect and wherein the supply of gas to said pump is determined by the liquid characteristics generated by said pump in said liquid.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de transport d'un organe comprenant un conteneur pour organe, une pompe à gaz reliée au conteneur et des conduites de circulation d'un liquide et/ou d'un gaz dans le conteneur et un contrôleur permettant de contrôler la pompe. On prévoit également des moyens de détection de pression dans la conduite de sortie de liquide de la pompe, lesquels moyens sont connectés au contrôleur et commandent le fonctionnement de la pompe et un procédé de transport d'un organe dans un conteneur consistant à placer un organe dans le conteneur, fermé le conteneur et pompé un liquide de perfusion et un gaz contenant de l'oxygène dans le conteneur, lequel pompage de liquide est causé par pression en provenance du gaz contenant de l'oxygène, la pression de gaz exercée sur la pompe variant afin d'obtenir un effet de pompage. L'acheminement du gaz vers la pompe est déterminé par les caractéristiques du liquide générées par la pompe dans le liquide.
