Device for washing gluten, provided with at least one drum screen (3) rotatably supported on a corrosion-resistant shaft, and equipped with means for supplying and discharging washing water and also with means for supplying the material to be treated at the one drum end and removing the treated gluten at the other drum end, at least two sets of spoke-type elements (13) which are made of corrosion-resistant material and which support the circumferential wall of the drum screen being provided on the drum shaft (4) at points disposed at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction, which sets are each mounted, when viewed in the circumferential direction, on a bush (8) which is made up of at least two parts (9) made of corrosion-resistant material and attached to one another by flanges (10) and which is to be firmly clamped to the shaft, the shaft being made of steel which is not corrosion- resistant and which has a high modulus of elasticity, and lining sleeves (12) made of corrosion-resistant material being provided around the shaft at points between the shaft ends and the bushes and also between the bushes.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour laver le gluten, pourvu d'au moins un tamis formant un tambour (3) supporté en rotation sur un arbre résistant à la corrosion et équipé d'un moyen pour assurer l'alimentation en eau et l'évacuation de cette eau. Le matériau à traiter arrive à une extrémité du tambour et le gluten traité est évacué à l'autre extrémité du tambour. Au moins deux séries d'éléments en forme de rayons (13), qui sont faits en un matériau résistant à la corrosion et qui soutiennent la paroi circonférentielle du tamis cylindrique sont montés sur l'arbre (4) du tambour en des points se trouvant à une certaine distance mutuelle dans la direction longitudinale. Les éléments de chaque série sont montés, quand on regarde dans la direction circonférentielle, sur une douille (8) qui est faite d'au moins deux parties (9) réalisées en un matériau résistant à la corrosion et fixées ensemble par des brides (10), la douille étant fixée fermement à l'arbre. L'arbre est fait en un acier qui n'est pas résistant à la corrosion et qui a un module d'élasticité élevé. Des manchons de revêtement (12), faits en un matériau résistant à la corrosion sont prévus autour de l'arbre à des points entre les extrémités de l'arbre et les douilles, ainsi qu'entre les douilles.
