The invention relates to a device (1) for treating snoring sounds, interruptions in breathing and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and for diagnosing and treating obstruction and vibrations in the pharyngeal region. To this end, the device (1) is intraorally used. The device (1) is comprised of at least one oral transverse (2a, 2b) and of means (3), which are placed at the rear end of the oral transverse (2a, 2b) and which serve to stabilize the velum. The means (3) can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the patient. During intraoral use of the device (1), the velum is held at a distance from the pharyngeal wall, and the connective tissue in the upper pharynx behind the velum is stabilized in order to prevent obstructions. Different means can advantageously supplement the device and serve as a holding device for sensors for examining and treatment purposes. The invention also relates to a method for adapting a device (1) according to one of the cited claims to the velum of a patient and to a method for recording measured values.
L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) permettant de traiter des ronflements, des interruptions de respiration et l'apnée obstructive du sommeil (AOS), ainsi que pour diagnostiquer et traiter des obstructions et des vibrations dans la région pharyngée. Ledit dispositif (1) s'utilise par voie intra-orale. Ledit dispositif (1) comprend au moins une entretoise buccale (2a, 2b) et des moyens (3) disposés à l'extrémité arrière des entretoises buccales (2a, 2b), pour stabiliser le voile du palais. Lesdits moyens (3) peuvent être adaptés individuellement à l'anatomie du patient concerné et au cours de l'utilisation intra-orale dudit dispositif (1), le voile du palais est maintenu à distance de la paroi de la gorge et stabilise le tissu conjonctif dans le pharynx supérieur derrière le voile du palais, afin d'empêcher les phénomènes d'obstruction. Différents moyens peuvent compléter avantageusement ledit dispositif et servent d'éléments de retenue pour des détecteurs utilisés à des fins d'examen et de thérapie. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant d'adapter un dispositif (1), d'après une des revendications précédentes, au voile du palais d'un patient, ainsi qu'un procédé pour enregistrer des valeurs mesurées.
