The device proposed is designed to weld together at least two parts (1, 2) using arc-welding or resistance-welding, in particular pressure arc-welding, techniques. An arc is struck across a gap between the two parts (1 and 2), thus causing them to melt. In oder to ensure a very precisely defined vertical gap between the parts, the second part (2) is first placed on the first. The final position, determined by a programme-control unit (12), is measured by means of a travel-measurement instrument (10). Starting from this "zero position", the bolt is lifted through a freely programmable distance and the main welding current activated. On expiry of the prescribed period of time, the bolt on the second part (2) is moved towards the first part (1), this movement also being carried out under programme control.
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'assembler par soudage au moins deux pièces (1, 2), par soudage à l'arc ou par résistance de préférence par soudage à l'arc sous pression. A cette fin, un arc électrique est établi entre les pièces (1) et (2), et les fait fondre. Afin de pouvoir parvenir à un écart vertical défini avec une très grande précision entre les deux pièces (1, 2), on place d'abord la seconde pièce sur la première. La position finale, déterminée dans le cadre d'une commande par programme (12), est détectée à l'aide d'un système de mesure de déplacement (10). Sur la base de cette "position zéro", une goupille est élevée d'une valeur librement programmable et le courant d'allumage principal est lancé. Après un temps donné, la goupille ou la seconde pièce (2) est déplacée en direction de la première pièce (1), ce déplacement pouvant également être commandé par programme.
