ABSTRACT The invention relates to a device in connection with safety belts for vehicles and provided with an inertia sensible reel lock, which has a housing portion positioned excentrically relative to the revolving shaft of the reel. Said housing portion, enclosing an inertia body, is turnable relative to the housing of the reel. The reel lock includes elements arranged to transfer a movement of alternation of the inertia body to a movement of alternation bet- ween a locking and releasing function of the reel lock. Said movement is transferred along the turning axis of said housing portion.
