ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Device securing a quick-acting clamping device for fixing the cover of a pressure vessel, with the quick-acting clamping device, on the one hand, embracing a flange section at the open, end of the pressure vessel and, on the other hand, embracing a U-shaped cover section in the closed position, characterized in that the pressure vessel is equipped with locking or mating components (6, 7) fitted into the U-shaped components (5a, 5b) of the quick-acting device (5) on the external side of the cover (3) and/or on that of the pressure vessel flange (2), i.e. on the contact surface and on the mating surface of the U-shaped components. These locking or mating components lock at the slightest movement of the cover (3) when the vessel is being pressurized.
