A shape-memory alloy coupling system for connecting two or more mem-bers (12, 14) and selectively preventing premature locking. The coupling system includes a coupling device (16) adapted for connection to at least one member (12, 14) and being at least partially formed of a shape-memory material. The coupling device (16) has a first configuration that allows relative movement between the member (12, 14) and the coupling device (16), and a second configuration that limits relative movement between the member (12, 14) and the coupling device (16). A blocking element (22) co-acts with the coupling device (16) to selectively prevent the coupling device (16) from assuming the second con-figuration.
L'invention porte sur un système d'assemblage en alliage à mémoire de forme servant à unir deux éléments (12, 14) ou plus tout en en évitant le blocage prématuré. Ledit système d'assemblage comporte un dispositif d'assemblage (16) conçu pour se raccorder à au moins un élément (12, 14) fait au moins partiellement d'un matériau à mémoire de forme. Le dispositif d'assemblage peut présenter une première configuration permettant les mouvements relatifs des éléments (22) et du dispositif d'assemblage, et une deuxième configuration limitant les mouvements relatifs des éléments (22) et du dispositif d'assemblage.
