La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour cacher un radar équipant par exemple un véhicule, ce dispositif supportant notamment un motif. L'invention concerne également un procédé de réalisation d'un tel dispositif. Le dispositif reproduit un motif donné comportant une partie brillante. Il comporte au moins une pièce frontale (21) transparente aux ondes optiques et une pièce (31) présentant une face d'aspect brillant en regard de la face arrière de la pièce frontale (21). La partie non brillante (22) du motif recouvre la face arrière de la pièce frontale. L'invention s'applique notamment pour les radars disposés à l'avant de véhicules, le cache reproduisant alors par exemple le logo du constructeur.
