ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for orientation and transport of elongated objects such as tree plants comprising a container having an inclined bottom member, which is movable to generate an outlet slot which successively widens upon said movement thereby causing the object resting upon said bottom member to take an upright position when the slot has reached such a width that the centre of gravity of the object may enter said slot. The device also comprises means for ejecting plants out of plant poets and a funnel shaped member provided below the container.
