Device used to prevent a window intruding (2) into a cab (1) of a rail vehicle in the event of an impact, the vehicle including a protective structure (3) between the window (2) and the interior of the cab (1) and the protective structure (3) including an opening (8) facing the window (2), the protective structure supports anti-intrusion members (12, 22, 32) which can move to obstruct at least part of the opening (8).
