ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for measuring the length of a tubular member as it is run into or pulled from a well bore includes a support means which defines ends in spaced relation. Elast- omer members are secured on each of the ends with axially, aligned openings therein for mounting the support means on the tubular member, and a measuring wheel is mounted on the support means and is resiliently urged into engagement with the circumference of the tubular member as it is moved through the axially aligned openings in the elastomer ends. -2-
