A device for locking/unlocking a lid (1) on a vessel (2) to form a pressure cooking vessel. The device comprises at least two radially movable jaws (15a, 15b) on the lid (1), a portion (50) for controlling the movement of the jaws (15a, 15b), actuating members (20a, 20b) connected to each of the jaws (15a, 15b) and provided with at least one locking aperture (25a, 25b, 250), and at least one locking valve (10) mounted on the lid (1) and movable into a raised position in which it engages the aperture(s) (25a, 25b, 250) and locks the jaws (15a, 15b). Said device is characterised in that it comprises a locking valve (10) combined with two actuating arms (20a, 20b) positionable one above the other at least when the jaws are in the locking position, said actuating arms having respective locking apertures (25a, 25b) arranged to be in register in said locking position. L'invention concerne un dispositif de verrouillage/déverrouillage d'un couvercle (1) sur une cuve (2) pour former un récipient de cuisson sous pression comportant: au moins deux mâchoires (15a, 15b) montées radialement mobiles sur le couvercle (1), un moyen de commande (50) du mouvement des mâchoires (15a, 15b), des éléments entraîneurs (20a, 20b) reliés à chaque mâchoire (15a, 15b), et pourvus d'au moins une lumière de verrouillage (25a, 25b, 250), au moins une soupape de verrouillage (10) montée sur le couvercle (1) et apte à occuper une position haute pour engager la ou les lumières (25a, 25b, 250) et verrouiller les mâchoires (15a, 15b); caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une soupape de verrouillage (10) associée à deux bras entraîneurs (20a, 20b), susceptibles d'être superposés au moins en position de verrouillage des mâchoires et comportant chacun une lumière de verrouillage (25a, 25b) disposées pour coïncider en position de verrouillage.
