The object of the present invention is to provide just one device to perform the whole operations of stile-loading the pre-drying lumber and stile-unloading the post-drying lumber, thereby making it possible to save much facility investment. The operation of sending the pallet from the pallet-loading structure-to the stile-loading and stile-unloading conveyor by use of the pallet-carrying structure and the operation of making the pre-drying lumber line up and transferring it from the lumber-carrying conveyor onto the pallet by use of the lumber carrying structure are repeated in turn, and after the pre-drying lumber is stile-loaded on the pallet in a certain number of layers, the pallet with that lumber on it is sent out from the lumber-carrying conveyor. Then the pallet with the post-drying lumber stile-loaded on it is transferred back onto the stile-loading and stile-unloading conveyor, and the post-drying lumber is collected back from that pallet onto the lumber-carrying conveyor by use of the lumber-carrying structure and at the same time, the pallet is collected back onto the pallet-loading structure by use of the pallet-carrying structure. Those processes are repeated a required number of times.

L'opération consistant à acheminer la palette depuis la structure de chargement de palettes jusqu'au convoyeur de chargement et de déchargement au moyen du transporteur de palettes, de même que l'opération consistant à aligner le bois de préséchage avant de le transférer du transporteur de bois d'oeuvre vers les palettes à l'aide de la structure de transport du bois d'oeuvre sont répétées tour à tour; après le chargement du bois de préséchage disposé en un certain nombre de couches sur la palette, la palette avec son chargement de bois d'oeuvre est acheminée par le convoyeur de bois d'oeuvre.
