The invention concerns a device absorbing infrared radiation, comprising as element for coupling the infrared radiation a quasi-crystalline alloy element consisting of one or several quasi-crystalline phases whereof the volume represents at least 40 % by volume of the quasi-crystalline alloy, a quasi-crystalline phase being either a quasi-crystalline phase strictly speaking, or an approximate phase or an approximate compound. The invention is applicable to bolometers, infrared filters, thermal converters, heating plates.
L'invention concerne un dispositif absorbant le rayonnement infrarouge, qui comprend comme élément coupleur du rayonnement infrarouge un élément en alliage quasi-cristallin constitué d'une ou plusieurs phases quasi-cristallines dont le volume représente au moins 40 % en volume de l'alliage quasi-cristallin, une phase quasi-cristalline étant soit une phase quasi-cristalline au sens strict, soit une phase approximante ou un composé approximant. Applications: bolomètre, filtre infrarouge, thermocouple, plaque chauffante.
