Abstract The press is intended for dewatering of pulp and comprises two rotatable press rolls (1,2), of which at least one is provided with elastically resilient shell surface, so that the rolls together form an extended nip (8). The roll with the elastic shell surface is formed with a plurality of elastic supports (12) extending all about, on which supports a thin perforated shell sheet (13) is located.
