DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE FOR LIQUID SAMPLES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is concerned with a diagnostic device for collection of body fluids which is especially conveni- ent for taking mid-stream urine specimens. Generally the device comprises a bipartible receptacle having a removable portion which contains a bacteriological medium. The removable portion may be incubated and analyzed subsequent to substantially immedi- ate inoculation of the medium with any pathogens present in the fluid.
