Conjugate molecules comprising a ligand bonded to a polymer are disclosed. One such conjugate molecule comprises a ligand bonded to a polymer, a chelating agent bonded to the polymer, and a radioisotope chelated to the chelating agent. The conjugate molecules may be useful in detecting and/or treating tumors or biological receptors. These conjugate molecules may be synthesized without the necessity of preactivation of the ligand using an SCN-polymer- chelating agent precursor. Conjugate molecules incorporating an annexin V ligand are particularly useful for visualizing apoptotic cells. Conjugate molecules incorporating a C225 ligand are particularly useful for targeting tumors expressing EGFR.

L'invention concerne des molécules conjuguées comprenant un ligand lié à un polymère. Une telle molécule conjuguée comprend un ligand lié à un polymère, un agent de chélation lié au polymère, et un radio-isotope chélaté dans l'agent de chélation. Les molécules conjuguées peuvent être utiles pour détecter et/ou traiter des tumeurs ou des récepteurs biologiques. Ces molécules conjuguées peuvent être synthétisées sans la nécessité d'une préactivation du ligand à l'aide d'un précurseur SCN-polymère-agent de chélation. Les molécules conjuguées renfermant un ligand annexine V sont particulièrement utiles pour visualiser des cellules apoptotiques. Les molécules conjuguées renfermant un ligand C225 sont particulièrement utiles pour cibler des tumeurs exprimant l'EGFR.
