The present invention pertains to new polynucleotides or new combinations of polynucleotides useful as diagnostic tools for predicting the occurrence of a human hepatocellular carcinoma disease. The invention is also directed to polynucleotides that consist in candidate tumor suppressor genes the alteration of which is involved in the occurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma in a patient, as well as to polynucleotides derived from such new candidate tumor suppressor genes and to the corresponding expressed polypeptides. The invention also concerns diagnostic methods using said polynucleotides as diagnostic tools.
La présente invention concerne de nouveaux polynucléotides ou nouvelles combinaisons de polynucléotides utiles comme outils de diagnostic permettant de prévoir un cas de carcinome hépatocellulaire humain. L'invention a également trait à des polynucléotides consistant en des gènes suppresseurs de tumeur candidats dont la modification est impliquée dans le cas de carcinome hépatocellulaire humain survenant chez un patient; ainsi qu'à des polynucléotides obtenus à partir de tels gènes suppresseurs de tumeur candidats, et aux polypeptides exprimés correspondants. L'invention concerne également des méthodes diagnostiques utilisant lesdits polynucléotides comme outils de diagnostic.
