2073861 9201808 PCTABS00010 A method of stabilizing an anti-Mycoplasma pneumoniae monoclonal antibody by dissolving the antibody or a labelled derivative thereof in an aqueous solution with a pH of 5.5 to 8.5 containing 5 to 5,000 times by weight as much albumin; a reagent for diagnosing Mycoplasma pneumoniae containing the stabilized composition thus obtained; and a method of purifying an anti-Mycoplasma pneumoniae monoclonal antibody by concentrating a supernatant of the culture of a hybridoma which produces this antibody 2- to 20-fold, washing a fraction obtained by salting out with a buffer of a pH of 6.0 to 7.5, and dissolving the washed fraction in a buffer of a pH of 8 to 10.
