The invention relates to a diagnostic system for a valve that can be actuated by a position controller via a drive. The inventive diagnostic system comprises a device provided for recording, storing and evaluating body sound spectra on the valve. In order to enable the valves to be diagnosed in a particularly reliable manner, a body sound spectrum which is recorded when the intact valve (2) is slightly open can be stored in the device (14) provided for recording, storing and evaluating body sound spectra, whereby the valve (2) can be closed for diagnostic purposes and the resemblance of the recorded body sound spectrum to the stored body sound spectrum is referred to as a criterion for a non-sealing of the valve (2). L'invention concerne un système diagnostique pour un clapet actionnable par un régulateur de position par l'intermédiaire d'un mécanisme d'entraînement qui comprend un dispositif pour détecter, mémoriser et évaluer des spectres de bruits de structure au niveau du clapet. Afin de parvenir à établir des diagnostics particulièrement fiables au niveau de clapets, il est prévu selon l'invention de mémoriser un spectre de bruit de structure détecté dans un clapet intact légèrement ouvert, dans le dispositif (14) destiné à détecter, mémoriser et évaluer des spectres de bruits de structure. Le clapet (2) peut être fermé à des fins de diagnostic et la similitude entre le spectre de bruit de structure détecté à cette occasion avec le spectre de bruit de structure mémorisé sert de critère pour établir un manque d'étanchéité du clapet (2).
