- 13 - O.Z. 0050/38091 Abstract of the Disclosure: Dialkoxyketones of the for- mula I Image (I) where R1 is C1-C13-alkyl, R2 and R3 are each hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 are each hydrogen, halogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-haloalkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C1-C4-alkylthio, C1-C4-haloalkoxy, C1-C4-haloalkyl- thio, or phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxy, or two adjacent ra- dicals R4 to R8 form a C3-C5-alkylene chain which is un- substituted or substituted by C1-C4-alkyl, or form an unsub- stituted or substituted fused aromatic ring, and m and n are each 0 or 1, with the proviso that m and n are not 0, when R4 or R8 is C1-C4-alkoxy, R5 or R7 is C1-C4-alkylthio, R6 is halogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy or phenyl, R5 and R6 or R6 and R7 are each C1-C4-alkoxy, R4, R6 and R8 or R4, R6 and R7 or R5, R6 and R8 are each halogen or each of the radicals R4 to R8 is hydrogen.
