A dialogue system consisting of a central station (ZS) and of a plurality of sub-stations (US0 - US15) makes use of a bus consisting of three wires, whereat two wires (LS1, LS2) are conducting an AC voltage and the third wire (LD) serves to transmit data. By means of the AC wires the data wire is switched into a loop and at the same time a current supply of the sub-stations as well as the actuation of final control elements within those sub-stations is possible under use of the AC voltage (Fig. 1).
