DIALYSIS SOLUTION CONTAINING GLUCOSE, AMINO ACIDS & INSULIN Abstract of the Disclosure A medical solution for administration to patients, and typically a peritoneal dialysis solution, which com- prises a water solution having the presence of physio- logical salts in sufficient concentration to be osmotically compatible with blood. For further osmotic effect and also for purposes of nutrition, a mixture of amino acids, preferably including essential amino acids, insulin, and preferably a source of carbohydrate nutrition may be present in portions sufficient to enhance the assimilation of amino acids and the carbohydrate source by a diabetic patient, for example, or other patients as may be desired.
