This invention provides compositions which comprise at least one aromatic secondary diamine having a Gardner color number no more than about 6. The aromatic secondary diamine either is in the form of one benzene ring having two secondary amino groups on the ring, or is in the form of two benzene rings connected by an alkylene bridge and having one secondary amino group on each ring. At least one N,N-dihydrocarbylhydroxylamine is optionally present in the composition. Processes for producing such compositions are also provided.

L'invention concerne des compositions qui comprennent au moins une diamine aromatique secondaire présentant un nombre de couleurs, selon l'échelle de Gardner, inférieur ou égal à 6. La diamine aromatique secondaire se présente sous la forme d'un noyau de benzène présentant deux groupes amino secondaires sur le noyau ou sous la forme de deux noyaux de benzènes reliés par une liaison alkylène et présentant un groupe amino secondaire sur chaque noyau. Au moins une N,N-dihydrocarbylhydroxylamine est éventuellement présente dans la composition. L'invention concerne également des procédés pour produire lesdites compositions.
