TITLE: DIAPHRAGM FOR A DIAPHRAGM PUMP OR MOTOR A B S T R A C T A diaphragm for a diaphragm pump or motor is formed of a flexible material and is premoulded to have a longitudinally extending central zone which is provided with longitudinal reinforcing fibres, which render it substantially longitudinally inextensible. A clamping portion extends around the full periphery of the diaphragm. Two longitudinal corrugations are provided in the diaphragm, one on each side of the central zone, between the central zone and the peripheral clamping zone.
