The present invention provides methods for treating and/or preventing conditions and diseases in humans and other mammals that are associated with and/or mediated by signal transduction pathways comprising platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR) by administering diaryl ureas of Formula I. The present invention also provides devices and methods for treating, ameliorating, preventing, or modulating restenosis following angioplastic surgery or other invasive procedures that affect or injure the vascular system, and graft rejection following transplantation of a donor tissue into a host, where a stent or other omplantable device comprises an effective amount of diaryl ureas of Formula I.
La présente invention a trait à des procédés pour le traitement et/ou la prévention de conditions et de maladies chez les humains et autres mammifères qui sont associées aux voies de transduction de signal comportant le récepteur du facteur de croissance dérivé des plaquettes (PDGF-R) et/ou médiées par celles-ci par l'administration d'urées de diaryle de formule (I). La présente invention a également trait à des procédés pour le traitement, l'amélioration, la prévention, ou la modulation de la resténose suite à une chirurgie d'angioplastie ou autres interventions invasives qui affectent ou altèrent le système vasculaire, et le rejet de greffe suite à une transplantation d'un tissu donneur chez un hôte, dans lesquels un tuteur ou autre dispositif implantable comporte une quantité efficace d'urées de diaryle de formule (I).
