The invention relates to a diastereoselective method of preparing olefins by means of the Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction consisting in reacting a phosphonate on a carbonyl derivative in the presence of a base in an appropriate solvent and at a low temperature. The invention is characterised in that it comprises the addition of a tris-(polyoxaalkyl)-amine sequestering agent in a sufficient quantity to increase the diastereoselectivity of the olefin, said agent having formula (I): N-[CHR¿1?-CHR¿2?-O-(CHR¿3?-CHR¿4?-O)¿n?-R¿5?]¿3? (I), wherein: n is an integer between 0 and 10; R¿1?, R¿2?, R¿3?, R¿4 ?can be identical or different and represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical having between 1 and 4 carbon atoms; and R¿5? represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl radical or a cycloalkyl having up to 12 carbon atoms, a phenyl radical or a radical with formula -C¿m?H¿2m?-F or C¿m?H¿2m+1?-F, m being an integer between 1 and 12 and F being a phenyl radical.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation diastéréosélectif d'oléfines par la réaction d'Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons consistant à faire réagir à basse température un phosphonate sur un dérivé carbonylé en présence d'une base dans un solvant approprié, caractérisé en ce qu'on ajoute dans une quantité suffisante pour augmenter la diastéréosélectivité de l'oléfine un agent séquestrant tris-(polyoxaalkyl)-amine de formule (I) :N-[CHR1-CHR2-O-(CHR3- CHR4-O)n-R5]3 (I). Dans laquelle : n est un nombre entier compris entre 0 et 10 ;R1, R2, R3, R4 peuvent être identiques ou différents, et représentent un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical alkyle ayant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone ;R5 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle ou cycloalkyle ayant jusqu'à 12 atomes de carbone , un radical phényle ou un radical de formule - CmH2m-.PHI.- , ou CmH2m+1-.PHI. , avec m étant un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 12 et .PHI. étant un radical phényle.
