-25- Summary The subject of the present invention are dibenz- [b,e]azepin derivatives of the formula I Image (I), in which A signifies a methylene, carbonyl, thio- carbonyl, carbimino, N-hydroxycarbimino or sulphonyl group, X a valency bond or an oxygen or sulphur atom, a sulphinyl or sulphonyl group, a group CH2S or a group NH, n a whole number from 1 to 3, and R1 to R4, which independently of one another can be the same or different, each a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic radical with 1 - 6 C-atoms, their tautomers, enantiomers, diastereomers and physiologically compatible salts. Furthermore, the invention concerns medicaments containing compounds of the formula I, especially for the treatment of viral infections.
