The present invention relates to dibenzo-azepine derivatives and their use as alphaV integrin receptor antagonists. More particularly, the compounds of the present invention are antagonists of the integrin receptors alphaVbeta3, alphaVbeta5, and/or alphaVbeta6 and are useful for inhibiting bone resorption, treating and preventing osteoporosis, and inhibiting vascular restenosis, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, angiogenesis, atherosclerosis, inflammation, wound healing, viral disease, tumor growth, and metastasis.
Cette invention concerne des dérivés de la dibenzo-azépine et leur utilisation comme antagonistes du récepteur d'alphaV integrine. Plus particulièrement, les composés selon la présente invention sont des antagonistes des récepteurs de l'intégrine alphaVbeta3, alphaVbeta5, et/ou alphaVbeta6. Ils servent à inhiber la résorption osseuse, à traiter et à prévenir l'ostéoporose, à favoriser la cicatrisation des blessures, à inhiber la resténose vasculaire, la rétinophatie diabétique, la dégénérescence maculaire, l'angiogenèse, l'athérosclérose, les inflammations, les maladies virales ainsi que la croissance des tumeurs et des métastases.
