ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides in a solid transparent gelled antiperspirant composition comprising (a) 5-80% by weight of a lower monohydric alcohol, (b) 5-75% by weight of a dihydric alcohol, a polyhydric alcohol, a polyglycol or a polyglycol ether having at least one hydroxyl radical, or a mixture of two or more thereof, (c) 0.5-10% by weight of di- benzaldehyde-monosorbitol acetal, (d) 0-15% by weight of a monoalkylolamide or dialkylolamide of a higher fatty acid, (e) 0-10% by weight of a propylene-/ethylene glycol poly- condensate having an average molecular weight of at least 500 and composed of at least 60% propylene-oxygroups, (f) 2- 20% by weight of a metal antiperspirant compound, and (g) 0- 1% by weight of a higher fatty acid, the improvement compris- ing incorporating 0.1 to 25% by weight of an oleaginous com- pound to lessen stickiness of said composition, said oleagin- ous compound selected from the group consisting of an ester of a monohydric alcohol with a monobasi.c carboxylic acid, an ester of a monohydric alcohol with a polybasic carboxylic acid, an ester of a polyhydric alcohol with a monobasic car- boxylic acid, an ester of a polyhydric alcohol with a poly- basic carboxylic acid, a siloxane having a viscosity of 0.01 to 25 centistokes, a hydrocarbon having a boiling point of a maximum of 350°C at one atmosphere pressure, saturated fatty alcohols being liquid at room temperature, unsaturated fatty alcohols being liquid at room temperature, and a mixture of two or more compounds of said group.
