ABSTRACT A structure is disclosed for a dichroic antenna which can be used in a reflector antenna capable of operating at the same time at two different frequencies or with two orthogonal polarizations, and which has mechanical characteristics rendering it suitable for use on board satellites. The structure, suitable for incorporation in a subreflector, comprises a plurality of layers, of which external layers have high mechanical stiffness and are separated from a central dichroic grid structure by layers having a low dielectric constant. The grid structure may have a single metallic grid, or a plurality of metallic grids separated by layers of low dielectric constant.
