This invention is a method of generating medical information including quantitative (14) and image (10) data, comprising steps of performing an image acquisition of at least a portion of a patient to be examined, generating image (10) data based on the performed acquisition, generating quantitative (14) data based on the performed acquisition, and constructing a DICOM compatible file; and the image (10) data being provided in an image (10) data field, and the quantitative (14) data being provided in another field of the DICOM compatible file.
