Abstract of the Disclosure A die is clamped to the bolster plate of a press by means of clamps around the sides of the die. Each clamp is operated by a rotatable shaft which ex- tends from the clamp to the front side of the press. The operating shafts for the clamps at the rear side of the die are disposed below the die.
